Hey all, just found the board.... Looks like a nice place to share.
A lot of first person shooter players that had used an Assassin 3D controller or Panther XL controller now use a CH USB stick in combination with a USB trackball to play Quake, Half-Life and alike.
I hope the moderators add a FPS section because I know a lot of users are using the CH sticks for these games. The keyboard emulation gives awesome support for games that offer no joystick support !
Since no one makes a one piece combo of joystick and trackball (like the Panther XL was) the users of these controllers ether buy two seperate units or replace the guts completely with USB units.
The CH Products sticks have the best button layout (cloesest to Panther XL anyway) and are high quality units giving the FPS player who plays 4 to 6 hours a day a good sturdy unit !
I have personally used prolly 5 CD Sticks over the last 7 years I have been playing FPS and supporting joysticks in them. Great stuff !
