Folks,
I had a blank Adobe PDF template for USB FS + PT that had drop down boxes for each key that you could fill in. I recently lost a hard drive and I can't find it anymore. Does anyone know where I can download this file. It was great for quickly creating printable key maps.
Thanks for any help,
Bluenose

Hate replying to my own post but I found it. It's pretty good and available here:

Hi Ghost,
OK you're a genius....or at least one hel..of a lot more informed than I am. It's almost perfect. I'm trying to figure out how to save the entries. The folder won't let me save the typed commands but I've enabled the function that allows me to type a letter or 2 and quickly fill in the boxes. It usually takes me more than a dozen variations before I settle on a set of commands AND buttons that play well for me. A huge advantage of this file is its physical size. All my previous kneepads going back 4 to 5 years are two 8-1/2" X 11" sheets mounted side by side on a modified typing eisel and set up between the keyboard and monitor. The size of these kneepads are 1/2 the sixe yet are as readable (if not better) than my current ones.
I'm thinking about mounting supplemental information on both the left and right since I now have all this "extra" room.
As before, thank you again.....somehow I feel I may be saying this again sometime soon.

Hi Ghost,
I'm sure glad I kept track of the info on the kneepad printout.
My main hard drive crashed about 2 weeks ago and NO I haven't been backing up my files, so.............I've begun the rather long process of rebuilding from scratch. The good new is that my frame rates are up to 40+ with the new drive and the way we set it up. I've installed the IL2 simulator programs through the merged Pacific Fighters along with all the patches and the fps remained at the 40+ range. I'll be adding Voice Buddy (instead of Game Commander 2) and installing my Track IR 3 Pro as soon as I am satisfied that the base simulation is running smoothly.
If you've had any experience with either of the voice recognition programs, I'd appreciate any advice you might have.
I'm sure I'll be in touch for some reason or other.......technology always seems to have glitches....or maybe it's just me.

Neither of these are working, is there another link to one please?

I can't seem to find the "CH_HOTAS_Template.pdf" file either. I get a message that it may have been moved or deleted. If anyone has a copy could you please repost it?
Thanks
Tony

Folks,
Here is a slightly improved version. The grey boxes are meant for any SHIFTED commands.
Take care,

Hi Ghost,
If you've got the file and want to email it to me, I can stick it on the web for you and you can just post a link. I've got plenty of space available.

If you download my Falcon4 profile in the Jet Sims forum, I've got a PowerPoint file that is perfect for this... text boxes all around pictures of the FighterStick and Pro Throttle.

Hi Ghost,
>> e-mail sent Bob! Thanks! <<
Got it! The file is up, the URL is:
http://home.att.net/~stickworks/ch_hotas_template.zip
I can add a link to it on my "CH Utilities" page too if you like, makes it easier when you can't remember what it's called. Do you know who did the file originally? I'd like to give them credit if I'm going to put up a link and file description.
Best regards,
- Bob

Thanks, I got it. Glad to be back. I've had major computer problems; lost a hard drive and had to completely rebuild and then lost the operating system and guess what, had to rebuild a 2nd time. Things are looking much better now.
Thanks for the help.

Hi Bob,
The original file came from a "Zephyr2727" who posted it to a Falcon 4 website called "Taipans - Pacific Northwest Tactical Fighter Wing (http://taipans.dyndns.org/)" many moons ago - maybe 4 - 5 years? I think it was originally for the Gameport versions and I modded after the USB versions of the Fighterstick & Pro Throttle came out. Anyhow, they are now in their current state.
Take care,
Blue
