Just a quick question .. im trying to clarify what exactly are the 'rotary trim controls' on the f16 USB stick.

Do they send info to the sim I am flying just like the throttle does, or do they just adjust the stick trim itself (physically).

Thanks :)

They adjust the stick physically, however if you are buying a stick and throttle you'll have a throttle wheel spare on the side of the stick that can be handy to map to elevator trim.

Ahhh no sorry was thinking of another sim, the throttle wheel shows up in games as Device 1 'Z' axis so games like IL-2, Target Korea, Rabaul, WWII Online etc all allow joystick axis to be mapped for trim input however Warbirds AFAIK still only allows button presses for trim input. To be honest though I prefer to map trim to a hat switch than use rotaries even when I used an (ahem) 'other' stick that had rotaries on the throttle unit.

Good cover Revvin. ;)

You could always program the Axis to send keystrokes if you were so inclined.
