OK, so I have everything working again (prothrot, combat stick and pedals all analog) and the programming went well enough.

All works on-line in XP but...

Something is sending a continuos (every 5 seconds or so) signal. I don't notice it until I try to type or use the radio or tune a radio. Every 5 seconds a [] shows up in the radio bar or chat line. I can't seem to stop it or figure out why it's being sent?

Any ideas?

Roan,

Never heard of that happening on any posts here  , maybe you need to reset the throttle  .

Tried the reset Blazerbruce but no go.

Found that I had programmed the keys that were reaccurring to the bottom hat on the front of the prothrot. Removed all programming from that hat and everything is fine. End of the day, any thing I put on that button repeats during game play... button id FUBAR I think.

I can live without it though, and it certainly beats the hell out of throwing all this analog stuff out the window and buying it all again in USB ;)

For now, life is good again, now if I could only win a lottery....

roan,

Good to hear you were able to diagnose the problem. Im going on a long shot trial and error, but maybe if you rapidly press the defunct button it may work again. You may get lucky and find dust/or some sort of sticky substance is keeping the button from releasing. If the trouble pursists, maybe MichaelCDProd can help you service the unit. Im guessing its outta waranty but I think they repair outta waranty products with a service charge. If you feel brave, you can purchase replacement parts CH Parts page (http://www.chproducts.com/shop/parts.html)

Just gets better and better. The problem is not with the prothrot at all. I'm getting it all the time now- in all programs as well.

Key board is the cheapest to replace and test so I'll start there.

Thanks for your help and interest though!
