Hey,

Just recently picked up a copy of FS 2004.

Runs fine on my rig, only one problem...it's a killer to control with the keyboard, especially when trying to taxi to the runway (i'm all over the place there).

After some reading and looking into this, I've decided that a CH Yoke would be a nice addition.

Here's my question, would I be ok with just the yoke for awhile, or do i really need the rudder pedals as well? (I'm a little tight on my budget right now).

Any input on this would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Max

You don't reeeeeealy need the rudder pedals but they sure are nice to have!

With out the pedals you can always assign a button for Left Rudder and a button for Right Rudder.

Or if you like you can just leave "Auto-Rudder" enabled in MFS 2004 and the game will take care of rudder inputs for you.

Thanks for the input.

I think I'll get the yoke for now, then once I've saved up some extra money, I'll invest in the pedals.
