The attached zip file includes my Aces High map, along with a graphic depicting the key layout. The mapping includes a number of (what I think are) interesting features, such as trim inputs that are driven by stick deflection, time-parsed shift keys, four shift states, and four gun modes. I also implemented a quasi-differential throttle in which the throttle mouse stick is used to generate yaw by generating differential thrust on twin-engine planes, in addition to an engine-select toggle function that allows one to change the engine (left or right) that the throttle is controlling. When throttle control is switched to one engine, the other's throttle input stays fixed.

The mini-stick, quasi-dual throttle works by assigning two virtual axes that are mapped in AH to the left and right engines. If the mini-stick is centered, both engines axes receive the full throttle input. As the stick is deflected away from center, the throttle input to the virtual axis controlling the engine on the side of the deflection is decreased proportionally with the deflection. The result is that deflecting the stick to the right decreases the throttle input to the right engine, resulting in a right yaw, and vice-versa. I find it intuitive to use--if you want to induce yaw to the right, deflect the mini-stick to the right, and vice-versa.

The profile is really pretty specific to me, but I hope that someone might find some of the ideas useful.
