Would it be possible to change the stick portion on the Pro Throttle BACK to the
BUTTON which the anolog had?
I would find more usage for that---my 2c worth.
Other than that I LOVE the USB HOTAS of CH. EASY to program etc.
This forum should prove to be VERY informative.

Hi Eagle welcome to the CH Hangar! I don't think it would be feasible to change the ministick back to a button like the old analogue Pro Throttle as I'm sure the throttle case mouldings would be different to accomodate the gimbal of the ministick. Even if you could this would then pose problems for the Control Manager software as it would expect to find an analogue value on two axis but not find anything so you'd always have to have a script in every profile just to fool the software but even then I don't think it would work.
That being said you realise you have a push button on that ministick right? I have used it for some commands but if you really don't want to use that ministick (and if you play Aces High which I believe you do you can use it to pan the view) why not convert that ministick to a kind of hat switch?
To do this go to the tab that shows your Pro Throttle and click on the minstick in the bottom main picture of the Pro Throttle. To the right of this un-check the box that says 'DirectX Mode' and this will change the stick mode to 'Programmed Function' set 'Control Type' to 'Up/Down' and then put a 1 in the 'Steps' box then input the key presses you want to emulate in the 'Inc Key' and 'Dec Key' boxes remembering to put a 'NULL' in the 'Ctr Key' (This is the centre position) that's one axis mapped now just push the ministick up to edit the other axis exactly the same way. If that's not very clear I've attached an image below to better illustrate what to do.

WTG REVIN: Thanks for the information on this mini stick. I knew this forum was going to be informative, hope I can call upon this group for other things.

Glad to help Eagle, hopefully we can get some more CH users here and pool our experience and profiles to help more people.
Plus, it's easy to turn the mini-stick into four buttons if you don't want to use it as an analogue axis. I often do this to give myself another four-way hat.
