Hello,
I am a proud user of ch products, last month or so , I purchased another Combat stick, soon as I started using it I noticed a small sqeeking noise and a month later it progressed. I opened my joystick thinking I could add a drop of good old gun oil to all the piviots excluding the potentometers. We'll to my surprise, I found the 2 wiring harnesses were twisted so that the wires where rubbing against a pivot arm and the bottum of the joystick causing the insulation to slowly shaff away. I wrapped 1 layer of electrical tape around the two wires and gently moved them out of the way of moving parts. I tried consulting Ch , but was told I needed the External wiring kit, (I think I may have misworded somthing and they though I was talking about the external wire). Anyways, I was able to keep the wire protected but im affraid I have lost most of the longevity of my combat stick. Does Ch warranty this type of issue? I would gladly replace the wires my self, I am familar with the computer electronics, and build pc's for side money. Thanks for your help... Bruce :)
P.S. I have included a small picture of what I have done to try to resolve the problem.
