Does the gameport Pro allow programing of the rudders and toe brakes for those sims that provide for them like CFS2 and the M$ FS series? I've got both the USB and the gameport pedals, I use the former on my all CH setup, the gameport with Cougar.

I was led to believe that once they were connected to the Cougar you lost the toe brake functionality unless you did some re-wiring otherwise they act as rudder input only. Not sure if you can program them through the Foxy software. However with a full CH USB rig you can do all manner of funky things with them using the Control Manager 3 software :D

Thank You, on my all CH USB rig the Pro USB pedals have always worked fine for toe brakes, just wasn't sure about the Cougar/gameport combo.

I think Revvin is right, to get the toe brakes from our game port pedals if they are in a Cougar I think you need to do some wiring.
You could however try connecting the AUX plug to the JOYSTICK plug and then connect the GAMEPORT plug into the Cougar and see what it does.

I've got a similar question. I have all gameport stuff (F-16 Combat Stick, Pro Throttle, Pro Pedals) and was told by CH tech support back when I bought them (around 1997) that toe brakes were inoperative at that time because nobody had the requisite five (IIRC) axis control card. My Aux Port connector has been unused, but with only one gameport on my SB Live card, I'm not sure how or where it would go. Am I still out of luck on toe brakes without hardware modification? Thanks in advance.

I think the only drawback back in '97 would have been the maximum allowed axis/buttons input under DirectX..although Bob Church could probably shed some light on that.

I dug out the pamphlet that came with the pedals and it says, "You may notice a third plug labeled 'AUX PORT' at the end of the cable. Do not use this plug. At this time, there is no way to implement the functionality of this plug. However, it will be used for toe brakes in the near future as gamecard and software technology catch up to the PRO PEDALS...". I also bought a CH Game3 Automatic card at the time, but it is ISA and no longer compatible with any modern mobos. I have been a diehard CH proponent and wish I had a dollar for every hour I've put on my rig without a single failure.

I know if you connect the "AUX" plug to the "Joystick" plug and then plug the "Game Port" plug into the game port on your PC you can then use the CH Analog drivers to add the pedals as a seperate device. This would allow you to assign the rudder and toe brakes in games that support multple joystick inputs.
