Hiyas,

I already own a CH Pro Throttle and Pedals. I now want to replace my Joystick. I live in Idaho and have No access to stores that sell CH Products. I have small hands (Men's Medium Large Golf Glove) and am worried that I can not operate all the hats comfortable. I had one heck of a time with the Saitek X-36. Hand was too small for the Rudder Rocker and was to small to reach the hats and Pinky button. I retired it after 3-4 months even though I added pedals and Sticky Church's driver.

The question: Is the CombatStick 568 USB smaller in height then the FighterStick USB?? Price is no object, comfort and useability is! Can anyone out there, with my approximate hand size, respond?

Thanks,

The ONLY difference between the Combatsitck and the Fighterstick are the button shapes. They are exactly the same size. You might want to think about a Flightstick Pro USB (http://www.chproducts.com/retail/usb_flight_stick.html). It has enough buttons and if it does not well you have the Pro Throttle USB to make up for it B) . Your Throttle and Pedals are USB... right?

Thanks for the fast response Michael,

So, are you saying that quite possibly my hand is too small to efficiently use the Combat or Fighter Sticks? Or, are you saying that you're quite sure that the FlightStick Pro will fit my hand?

Txs, and have a Great Weekend!

What I am saying is the distance along the stick from the rest at the base of the grip to the center of the top most HAT is this...

Saitek X36(or 45) 5 and 11/16 inches (roughly 14.5 cm)

Combatstick(or Fighterstick) 5 and 15/16 inches (roughly 15 cm)

Flightstick Pro 5 and 3/16 inches (roughly 13 cm)

Cougar (just for comparrison) 5 and 15/16 inches

I know some users use foam inserts around the base of the joystick grip to boost their hand up a little, if I recall correctly some modelling styrofoam(spelling?) was used to cut the right shape to snugly fit the bottom of the stick.
