I have three CH USB Controls. Yoke, FightersStick ( just added ) and Pedals.

My problem is with Pedal functions. These are connected to a prime USB port in the

PC. The Stick and Yoke have their seperate ports in a 4way powered Hub, and

each are connected alternately relative to the Sim loaded. eg Yoke\Pedals FS 2004

Stick\Pedals Combat Sims.

The Yoke\Pedals combination function normally in FS 2004 and CFS3.

The Stick\Pedals also function normally in FS 2004 and CFS3. In two other Sims

CFS1 and CFS2 the Yoke and Stick function normally but the Pedals do not.

There is no rudder movement and the left pedal toe breake operates the ailerons,

and the right pedal toe brake operates the elevators.

In all cases I have performed Calibrations within the Game also with CHCM

indicating all functions operating normally. I have uninstalled and reinstalled

Programmes and drivers to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

CFS 1 does nto support multiple joystick inputs. By this I mean that it only wants to see 1 controller. As your CH USB controllers plug into the PC separately they are seen as multiple controllers.

You can cheat and confuse CFS 1 by using the Control Manager to "combine" the controllers into a single virtual controller that will allow you to use any and all of your CH controlers in the game at any one time.

The easiest way to "combine" your controllers is the Map Wizard....

Which is the fourth Icon in the Control Manager Tool Bar....

Simply follow the onscreen prompts to select the controllers you want to use...

Then tell the Wizard you want to combine them...

Now as you are never sure how many axis (or buttons) a game will support it is always best to start at the lowest common denominator (if you can use more buttons or axis you can always turn them on later in the map)...

Next the Wizard will want to know if you are going to be doing any scripting in this map. Yes or no really makes no difference as for right now you wil not, but it does not hurt to have the CMS ready to go if you decide to use it...

Now tell the Wizard you are finished and ready to either download the map or do some button programming in the normal GUI...

CFS 2 does allow multiple joystick inputs so you can either setup your controllers as per our FAQ Instructions (http://www.chproducts.com/fom/cache/359.html) or you can use the Control Manager. Only difference is if you program the controllers in the Control Manager you will still need to go an check your axis assignemnts (as per the FAQ (http://www.chproducts.com/fom/cache/359.html)) to make sure the controllers are effecting the right control surfaces on the aircraft. Hope that made sense. If not then tell me where I gooned it and I'll try again. :D

Michael,
Here in the UK and perhaps many other parts of the world we

have tv programmes featuring 'Agony Aunts' who solve everybodys

problems. You are certainly not an Aunt, but you give considerable help

to those of us who have a great deal yet to learn, and with your much

appreciated help we shall slowly improve. Many thanks.
