This package includes:
1. Graphical Keymap (WoV Keymap.jpg)
2. CH files implementing the keymap (Wings_over_Viewnam.cmc, WoV.cms, and WoV.map). Thanks to Michael for providing the cmc file.
3. Viewlist.ini, which should be placed in the Wings over Vietnam/Flight folder. This file contains modified views so that pressing the Fighterstick POV hat down gives a six view, and pressing the Fighterstick POV hat down simultaneously with the snap-view up modifier (i.e., ProThrottle button #2) gives a 45-degree-up six view. I've also played with the default values of the stock snap views so that the up modifier has a bit more effect. It's a simple matter to tweak these values to get the views you want.
There is nothing too bizarre about this map, but here are a few details that may not be apparent from the grpahical keymap.
1. The wheel brakes are mapped to both toe brakes. I've only had the sim a few days, so I haven't taken the time to figure out if there is some way to hack differential braking.
2. The differently colored commands on the graphical keymap are activated by pressing the appropriate GROUP keys. Commands with a white background require no GROUP key modifier. Commands with a red background require either (or both) GROUP 1 key modifiers (i.e., buttons #4 on the Fighterstick and ProThrottle). Commands with a blue background require either (or both) GROUP 2 modifiers (i.e., buttons #3 on the Fighterstick and ProThrottle). Commands with a purple background require one GROUP 1 modifier and ond GROUP 2 modifier. (I know that there are a bunch of blank commands, but I was too lazy to completely rework my Falcon 4 graphical template.)
3. The four GROUP modifier keys also have quick-click commands that are activated by pressing and releasing the GROUP modifier keys sufficiently quickly (while holding other, appropriate GROUP modifier keys if activating red, blue, or purple commands).
4. There is an afterburner mode that is on by default. When afterburner mode is turned off, full-range throttle will give just under 70% so as to not kick in the afterburner (I know that not all of the planes have an afterburner). To toggle afterburner mode, quick-click the center of the three keys on the back of the ProThrottle (ProThrottle button #3).
Enjoy (and please let me know ifyou find any bugs),
