I have put my eye on this stick. The only thing is it will cost me E169.95, for just the stick while I can get a HOTAS Cougar for E199.95 from the same site. If I want the throttle as well, which I do it will cost another E169.95. Whats the deal here? I thought the Cougar was the most expensive stick/Hotas around.
If anyone knows where I can get a brand new CH Fighter Stick for less could they please let me know.
Cheers, :)

Thanks for the link. They are some good prices. The only thing is it will cost me $67.15 for shipping. If only I lived in the U.S :( . It comes to $165.20 which works out as E136 which is not too bad. Thanks for your help.
I would still prefere it at $98 which is E80 for me, but thats life

Try this link. This person is selling in UK. The shipping charge might be lower.

How about a best price link in Canada? The red-lettered, "CH Products warranty is only valid in USA", gave me a jolt! Is this true?? Or is that only confined to buying from their site?

If you buy in the US you have to send it back there which is why CH recommend you buy in or as close to the country you live in. CH have assisted people all around the world with warranty issues.

Cobra360: I can save you a lot of trouble, frustration and money. Wait until you have enough money for the CH gear and get it. I started my HOTAS simming with a Cougar. I'm not knocking it really, but I found that it never worked like it looked. Bottom line is, I sold it (for about half of what I paid) and bought all three CH controllers. If you want reliable equipment that works as advertised, stays calibrated and just does what it's supposed to do, get CH. It will save you money in the long run. Just my 2cents. I live in Canada, BTW.

Can anyone tell me why Provantage lists the warranty for CH merchandise as only valid only valid in the U.S.?

Companies such as Provantage offer a certain amount of customer support. Usually, only if the product received is DOA. The printed warranty period on retail packaging is usually the manufacturers warranty...not the resellers.
If you have or intend to purchase outside your country, and find that you need to send in your CH Products for warranty support, I'm afraid you will have to do so directly to us in the States. Otherwise, it is in your best interest to purchase from one of our distributors in your country. We have a list of distributors to choose from on our site. Pricing usually reflects this convenience. You will find pricing cheaper through internet shops such as Provantage ... but do make sure you calculate potention shipping charges, both with the original purchase and with support issues.
We have several Canadian Distributors who can assist you, if I've read correctly that you are located in Canada?
Hope this helps.

So if I'm reading your post correctly Debby, full normal warranty is availble from CH for Canadian customers? We just have to pay for shipping to and from the U.S. (and any non-warranted parts)? Right?

That is correct, Rich. And shipping is fairly inexpensive if you use UPS - Standard. Make sure you list it as a warranty repair so you are not killed with duties/taxes. I've heard horror stories about Canadian customs!

Thanks Debby that's good to hear (I thought that all along anyway), and you're correct about our Customs.
There is no need for warranty anyhow, my controllers are just fine  , but it's good to know all the same.
Thanks,
Rich :salute:
