CH f16 fighterstick arrived at my door yesterday afternoon, from the US to OZ in 6 days form flightsimcentral.com.

Just thought i'd write to let you know how unbeleivably good it feels (and more importantly flies!!).

Gotta say micheal, I strongly dissagree with your statment (in another thread) about the cost of porting the CH mapping software to mac (esp now with OSX ... running on a BSD kernal) ... but i do gotta say.. your hardware rocks mate :)

So smooth, so precise, so sexy :) And the biggest plus of all.. with all thise buttons on the JS... I can now shoot down FW190's in my P40e .... WHILE I ENJOY A SMOKE IN MY "FREE" HAND!!!!! :w00t:

Im gonna fly it for a coupla weeks then decide whether i even need the usb throttle a well... i still have buttons to spare :)... bahhh who am i kidding LOL.. ill be buying a throttle as soon as i can afford it.

Once again, great product.. happy little vegemite here :D

Congrats on the purchase. I found the spring tension of the CH gear lends itself very well to WWII sims and found my accuracy was much better when I was'nt fighting the stick :)

Amen. I knew there was something I liked about CH Products. I too just received my Fighterstick yesterday. Long Time Cougar owner also tired of fighting the stick which definitely hurts one from becoming an Ace in WW2 sims.

First time I had the Fighterstick in my hand tho It was so smooth it alomst felt to loose lol.

Made in USA tho :)

Yo All!

Using CH gear is like eatin Lay's Potato Chips:

You can't use the sticks w/o wanting the throttle w/o wanting the pedals!

Save yourself from lying to the wife or GF(or for some of you-both)& just get the full HOTAS! You'll never regret it!!

'Cause you KNOW you want it! :salute:

I just got my FighterStick/Rudderpedals myself, but aren't quite used to them yet.
I fly IL2 FB exclusively, and am now tweaking the input adjustments in the game, trying to get a real responsive effect out of the stick. I've been unsatisfied with what I'd call sluggishness in the stick, but have now moved the yaw, roll, and whatever the other was, anyways, have moved all the settings to 100% and I'm really liking it. It seems very responsive at just a touch to the stick, yet it's rock steady if I hold it there. My question is to you FB flyers, what settings do you prefer most with the FighterStick? Your input would be appreciated. Thanks!

To be honest I leave them alone at the defaults.
