OK,
I think I made a mess with alla my input devices but something is going wrong.

I didn't succeed in making of CH throttle and CH pedals one only device seen by lomac.

I made them mapped in CH control MGR 3.0 and in the input screen of lomac they appear as device 1 and device 2 and not as a single device. How can I do that?

However not such a problem as the following:

some buttons of my microsoft naturtal keybord don't respond (home and end for starting and shutting down motors),

I can't make the buttons of the throttle work as wheel brakes because even if I assign in the game to that function the button device work not so well (I keep it pressed and the plane moves all the way, as if it is not read continuosly pressed)

I didn't succeed to assign one axis of the minijoystick to the zoom view: even if I assign the axis to the function in the input screen of the game, it doesn't appear to work in the actual game.

I think the cause of all these probs is the same but what I fail in...?

Thks for your patience and everlasting support

Cluster

I use Microsoft natural keyboard with microsoft FF2 joystick, CH pedals, CH throttle, and TrackIR2.

PS: where I can download maps for my CH devices for lomac?

You can combine controllers in the Control Manager software quite easily. Load up your profile and click on the 'Control Wizard' button (7th button from the left in the top menu) It will ask you how many axis and buttons you want to have, just leave it as default 8 axis and 32 buttons.

You'll find profiles for LOMAC in the Jet Sim Profiles (http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/index.php?showforum=8) forum but they are not for the combination you have that incorporates that MS FF2 stick. All is not lost though as you can use this (http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=91) cmc file to program that Pro Throttle you have.

How can I easily convert cmc files into working cms files?

Cut and paste ?

Sorry for my ignorance.

CMC files are for assigning key strokes (or commands) to your buttons before you even go into a game. You would need to right click on the CMC links HERE (http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/index.php?c=6) and "Save As" into your Maps folder (usually C:\Program Files\CH Products\Control Manager\Maps).

Then THIS THREAD (http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=238)will show you how to select a CMC file.

The fourth post down in THIS THREAD (http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=175) will show you how to use a CMC file.

CMS is for scripting commands that you normally would not be able to get with the simple interface of either the game or the Control Manager's GUI. Something like emulating the Mouse on your POV hat.

Hi Michael,
I went into the Control Manager program and I set the throttle functions right away using a command file, some script and having one only device 1 under Lomac. It works.

The problem I still have is with some toggle butttons of Lomac (i.e. toggle canopy, radar illumination or optical toggle, onboard light toggle ecc...)
I also noticed that the zoom in and zoom out function skip one scale going in or out.
The ministick either in modality up/down to have chaff (Y+) or continuous chaffs (Y-) seems not to work. I put "q" and "Q" in the inc e dec Keys, but the continuous command is not taken by the game.

I checked all the assignaed functions with the control manager Key check button and the definitions are all correct with the check.

All those toggle buttons really don't work programmed on the throttle hats.

I tried to put a larger value in the character rate or putting NULL before some definition of the command file but nothing worked fine.

What can I do? where is the problem?

Thx

If you use the key board during game play do they work right? The commands in game not the buttons on the HOTAS.

Yes,
if I use my MS natural keyboard to input the commands to the gameplay, it works as it is ment to do by the game sw, meanwhile through HOTAS I have the different behaviour I just reported to you.
A great number of inputs that are not "toggle ones" in the game sw have the same output both from HOTAS and from keyboard. The misbehaviour is only for the toggles via HOTAS input.

After the command is entered in the button position hit the space bar once and try placing "NULL" after the space. How is it now?

Michael I have no improvement by putting "NULL" one space after commands.

Ok.... on your map I found these commands that you had mentioned were not working...

Radar Illumination HAT 2 Up SHIFTED
Optical Toggle HAT 2 Down SHIFTED
Zoom In HAT 2 Forward
Zoom Out HAT 2 Back
Chaff/Flare PT Y axis UP
Continuous Chaff/Flare PT Y axis DOWN

I could not find the Canopy Toggle or Onboard Light Toggle.

Here is the thing, the map, your map, works fine on my PC. Do you have the LOMAC patch?

I forgot to mention I did change one thing but I don't think it is the issue at hand. You had a CMS.B21 and I changed it to CMS.B1 as I am a bit of a neat freak and anything out or order bothers me.

yes, Lomac is patched 1.01.

What can I do?
