My one years old Fighterstick has started spiking badly, so I need to get new pots.

Does anybody know spesification of the pots, so I can ask from my local store if they have similar?

I don't know their specs. But while Mike gets here with a more complete answer, you might want to check this page:

Good luck!

Your pots are....

100k Resistance, 300 degree total rotational angle, 50 degree effeective angle Linear CTS Type HG 1622 Pots.

Was that what you were looking for? B)

Are these the same for the gameport F-16 Combat Stick? The CH parts site show a 100k pot, but it says "Markings on the back of the pot are HP-100A" .

Thank you Sir, that was the info I was looking for.

Does CH send all their parts from US? If so, postage would cost much more than the parts :(

Sorry but all of the spare parts we have are here at the factory in San Diego, California.

Just as a follow-up in case it helps somebody else. My eight year old HOTAS rig (gameport F-16 Combat Stick, Pro Throttle & Pro Pedals) had gotten to the point to where my joystick was requiring increasingly frequent calibration. A question posted in this forum brought an answer from Michael of CH Products suggesting that replacement pots might help. The roll axis was the first and worst offender, so I disassembled my long-out-of-warranty-stick and noticed that all three pots (pitch, roll, throttle) were identical part numbers. Looking closely at how it was constructed, I swapped the faulty roll pot with the never-used throttle pot. Calibration became stable and the stick inputs were smoothly registered in my aircraft during Forgotten Battles/AEP. Not long after that, the pitch channel began to show signs of erratic input which could be seen as jumpiness in the calibration crosshairs of the Windows Game Controller. I tried electronic spray cleaner, but it was ineffective, so I ordered a replacement pot from CH Products on Sunday evening and it arrived on the following Friday. Replacement was quick and easy as in the previous operation. Now my trusty F-16 Combat Stick is back up to its high standard of performance and I am delighted. It is reassuring to know that I can replace pots, springs, switches, cables and even the gimbal if I need to. One of these days I may have to retire this rig and invest in their USB equivalent. Until then, I will continue to enjoy the benefits of having bought the best input peripherals on the planet. They're not cheap, certainly not inexpensive, but they are a true investment in every sense of the word that will reward you with reliable, high quality gaming for years to come. Thanks Michael, thanks Revvin. :salute:
