Although I called this an AEP profile (Ace Expansion Pack) it contains only one new command. That being the "Aircraft attach/detach" on ProThrottle button3. It still works fine in IL2:FB. If you fly AEP then you should go to the command settings and assign the "Aircraft attach/detach" to be "Shift a".
This map does not use modes but rather the far left button on the ProThrottle acts as a SHIFT button to reach alternate commands.
I use a TrackIR2 and voice comms so the only view commands are padlock related except for TrackIR centering, on/off & precision. If you use voice comms I assigned the Fighterstick button 3 to be a Push To Talk (PTT).
Thanks to MichaelCHProd's guidance the mini-joystick on the Pro Throttle is used for wingman commands.
For clarity the FS trigger (button 1) fires rockets when the SHIFT button is pressed and both guns & cannons when it is not. If you are at a gunner position (IL-2, He-111, etc) holding the shift key down will cause the joystick to act as a mouse control for moving the gun and the ProThrottle button 2 will shoot. You can still use your desktop mouse for these functions if you prefer. For this reason you should not hold the SHIFT button down for too long as it changes your joystick flight control to mouse view slewing.
The throttle slider on the Fighterstick acts as a view zoom in addition to the Fighterstick hat switch 3 left / right.
Feel free to alter this as you see fit. I hope you find it useful.
