HI!

I'm new here and new to CH products. Just got the full HOTAS package and am using it in IL2FB.......AEP too!!

Anyway....I've got it set up using the in-game settings, but I want to add my key strokes for TrackIR functions and Teamspeak. I've unchecked the "direct X" boxes for each button and typed in the key strokes to "activate" the function, such as the F11 key for TS. For some reason it wont work. The F11 key is working properly, but the button that I mapped it to on the PThrottle wont work.

I'm sure this is something basic.........just a little overwhelming at first.

Just point me in the right direction please.

Check you've typed it in correctly using the correct command name, you're screen should look like this:

Might want to just check that you havent got 2 or more games/apps fighting for the same key.

I just got my CH gear this week and unwittingly had F8 and F9 in use for both trackIR2 and programmed on the stick for chase view and gunner view in IL2.

The fix is to either change the keys so that the game uses different buttons for those functions (remember to change it in CMC file too when reprogramming the stick)... or or course you could change the buttons that trackIR2 uses (just remember what you changed them to when using other games).

With teamspeak you may just have the same thing again with TS and IL2 both wanting to use F11 for something and one or the other (or both) losing out.
