Make sure you let your significant other how much they mean to you. If you do not HAVE a significant other... CALL YOUR MOTHER!!! ;)

I actually hate valentines day because of the poor people who don&#39;t have a valentine (I used to be one of them) who now have an extra special day to feel even more alone and worthless. There&#39;s this one girl at work who never seems to be in a relationship at this time. This day seems really hard for her and I think her self-esteem takes an even greater beating because of it. She&#39;s like a sister to me so I always get her something so the day isn&#39;t completely horrible. That more than anything is why I don&#39;t like this scam of a holiday.

Yeah, she does. In addition to being my co-worker she&#39;s on my volleyball team and so is my girlfriend. They like each other very much. And, like a good guy I told her about it as well - leave nothing to chance so nobody gets confused. Confusion leads to suspicion.
