First, very cool site Rev. This is gonna be great for CH users. Much needed place for the CH people to hang out. B)
I will be posting and contributing here as much as i can (damn these forums are adding up :D - SimHQ, GameFAQs, Frugals, Free Falcon, but i have mostly been talking about Joe Gibbs on the Washington Post forums these days).
I am still in the process of writing CM3 guide...about 50% done for now. I will post it here as well as my site when its done

For my maps, i will continue to post them there. I want them in one place when i make changes / fixes.
Look forward to exchanging ideas with you guys. Once again, great job Rev.

You're very welcome here Spidey, I'm sure that guide will help a lot of users. I know what you mean about profiles, it was something that caused quite some thought setting up the site. A normal download page may end up being a lot of work and not as efficient so it was either a download script or use the functions already present i nthe choice of forum software. In the end I decided to go this way as it meant one login so users would not have to remember more than one password, the setup was familiar if they were used to other forums and users could attach files but then go back and change the attached file to update it as they needed (I'm always tinkering myself) It also means I can approve files before they get posted to scan them with a virus checker as I learnt a long time ago that while the web can be a great resource full of helpful people there are plenty of cranks who love to cause mischeif.

Yeah i know what you mean. We will figure out what's best as the forum grows.
Well, i think its time to reflect on how far ch has come...
I have always been a long time ch user (speed keys days) and my brother was always a loyal thrust master user. (he's the one that got me into simming way back when in the Gunship and Falcon days - and i mean the original gunship and falcon ;) He and I always argued about CH vs TM.
Anyway, when i moved over to WinXP, i realized that i needed to upgrade to USB. Back then CM1 wasn't even out yet so I actually thought about going to the Cougar :o
Fortunately for me, Cougar got delayed and CM1.0 came out (thanks Bob). So luckily i stuck with CH.
Anyway, I used to help out people at SimHQ with CM1 and Bob contacted me about beta testing CM2. I was really impressed with CM2 changes. I also realized that people are gonna need help so I decided to put my 10 mb freespace i have from my IP to good use. So this site was born.

Of course the funny thing is that the freespace was from my old internet provider that i haven't used since 2001. So my account got finally shut down about a year ago :D But amazingly the site is still up. Oh yeah, please don't send people to that site anymore. It hasn't been updated in about a year.
So as i was beta testing CM3, i migrated my files over to my new site

And I swear...if i get one more person accusing of stealing from my old site, i am gonna scream. Well, you see my account in SimHQ was under Mark4875. I wanted Spidey from the beginning but someone beat me to the punch. But when SImhQ upgraded their forum software, you can chane you display name...so that's when i changed my name to Spidey..what i wanted from the start.
Anyway, now with ch-hangar, my sites, a couple of other sites, CH is finally becoming much more of a community. And reading the posts in the forums these days, more and more people are picking CH ove Cougar. Yes, even my brother who used to always bash CH is now considering trading in his Cougar for CH. Come join me in the light side.. :P
Anyway, let's make this community grow.
Spidey man you making me feel old. :P
I'm still using the gameport versions of CH Fighterstick/Pro throttle/Pro Pedals & Virtual Pilot Pro that I acquired over 4 years ago. No intentions of changing yet as everything is working just like the day it was bought so I can't justify spending the moolah all over again. And let me tell you this stuff has seen some knocks.
And yes I'm still using Speedkeys on a Win98SE/WinXP Pro dual boot system. Works for me.
I run a LAN squad and help administer 5 other squads o'er here in Oz and it's been a lonely old ride for this CH user amongst a sea of Cougars and other stuff. :(
Thankfully due to the fact that everyone of the guys I know that have bought one of those Thrusty kits has had to return them for one reason or another - with one guy giving up on getting a replacement after 7 months! - us CH guys are slowly starting to outnumber all those other brands.
Rock on CH, long may we reign...lol. :P
I went out and bought a CH USB HOTAS (FS, PT, PP) after spending a couple hours on CougarWorld. It's hard to tell whether the forum members there are advertising for TM or CH. :D

I've owned a mixture of TM and CH gear over the years. My first serious stick around 12 years ago was a TM Pro FCS to which I soon added a WCS II. Back then I thought it was the muts nuts..come to think of it it would still cut the mustard today. I got into jet sims more and yearned for more buttons so when the F16 FLCS came along I grabbed one of those and a TQS and was happy for a number of years. CH tempted me away from the fold when they produced the Force FX. I was heavily into an online game called Warbirds back then which supported force feedback but the price put me off for a while until I stumbled across a Force FX wrongly marked up in a store at £50 (the cheapest I found mail order at the time was £129!) so I bought one of those and got myself a Pro Throttle and had them hooked up with a set of TM elite rudders. That little setup lasted me for years until like Spidey I decided I wanted a USB setup when I installed Win98SE. Not having much funds at the time and with the Force FX and Pro Throttle starting to spike a little I bought a Saitek X36 and used Bob's rudder only drivers to hook up the TM elites. In a moment of weakness I did buy a Sidewinder FF2 as I missed Forcefeedback but I gave that to my nephew when I heard about the TM Cougar. I pre-ordered and was overjoyed the day it arrived..until I opened the box and realised the damn thing was dead on arrival  I got my money back and ordered another which lasted a few months, then got that replaced then that one developed a fault so I got a replacement and decided to sell it while it worked and go back to CH this time with a USB rig that I've been extremely happy with.
