If any of you guys were afflicted by the "wobbles" as I was you'll be so happy with this new patch. I just dl'd and installed. After a QMB I can honestly say that the ocillations have tamed waay down for me. I love the flight model now. Reports that the ground breaking and handling issue issues have been fixed as well.

The UBI forums drive me nuts so I figured I would vent my love here without running the risk of sounding like an Oleg Fanboi.

1. Free add-on v4.03. Code name - "Junkers & Dornier". (We have it Smile)

2. First paid add-on.
"Project Pe-2" (tentatively - February 2006)
Pe-2 of the following modifications: 1st, 84th, 110th, 359th, Pe-3, Pe-3bis.
Plus is new campaign of 95 missions.
Plus half a dozen of new ground objects.

3. Second paid add-on. "Attack aircraft over Manchuria" (tentatively - April 2006)
IL-10, Ki-27, Ki-43-II, J2M5 Raiden.
Plus campaign of 45 missions.
Plus is the map of Manchuria.

4. Third paid add-on. "Project VVS-46" (tentatively - June 2006)
LaGG-3RD, Yak-3R, La-7R, Bi -6, MiG-13, MiG-9, Yak-15.
Plus is campaign of 45 missions.
Plus map of Kiev.

5. "Battle for Britain" "Storm of War: The Battle Of Britain "
(1st episode in a series of the next generation of flight simulators)

Fundamentally new engine. Superior graphics and physics.
Super-detailed Damage Model. Bullet holes and damage form cannon projectiles will appear precisely in those places, where they hit.

United game space.
Entire Britain, the north of France and part of Belgium, near French border.
New technology, which makes it possible to accurately reproduce landscape and objects on it. Large cities like London are not going to be desert and lifeless anymore. It is planned to imitate street traffic, famous double-decker buses in particular been already modeled.

Dynamically changing weather, detailed aerodynamics and the precise models of the behavior of aircraft. New dynamic campaign engine. Each AI pilot will have personal characteristics, favorite methods and special inclinations in conducting aerial engagements.

Player, being a unit commander, will be able to select various AI partners for fulfilling one or other mission goals. Expansion of interaction with the ground-based services. There will be radar stations, as there were in the real life and they will help pilots in target detection.

Wow, I've been away from flying IL2/PF for a few months, and I miss two big patches.

Time to fire it up again...
