Revvin, Is there any chance of getting a profile for these three controllers with the CMC file for FB/Aces. I know most that utilize the CH HOTAS use the fighterstick instead of the flightstick pro thus my request.

I'm not lazy, but was hoping there was something available. I also understand Aces has not yet been released over there. I'm patient enough to wait if necessary as there are a few specific commands that need to be included (like the airbrake for the P-38)

Maybe this should be in the "prop sim profiles" section. if so, please move it

Want to be a guinea pig? ;) I don't have the Flightstick but I just adapted my Fighterstick/Pro Throttle layout for you and attached it to the bottom of this post if you'd like to give it a whirl. I've not had chance to do a graphical overlay for it yet but as this file uses Michaels IL-2FB cmc file you'll be able to easily see what commands are used. Basically the Pro Throttle layout is much the same as it was in my Fighterstick profile apart from moving trim controls to the Pro Throttle HAT 2 (the hat on the face of the Pro Throttle above the ministick and POV hat) I've also moved the shift button onto button 2 on the front side of the Pro Throttle instead of where it used to be on the pinky button on the Fighterstick. The POV hat on the Flightstick still does the view control while the trigger has a switched and unswitched mode which gives you access to the various weapons as does button 2 on the Flightstick.

I'll get around to doing a graphical layout later hopefully if you give it a whirl and OK the layout.

A guinea pig I'll be then!

I just dl'd the profile, but happen to be at work so won't be able to test it until I get home this eve. I'll let you know. If you'd be kind enough to let me know when the graphical overlay is ready I'd be thankful.

Here's the overlay, if you give that profile a whirl for me to make sure it works with that stick then I'll package it all up in a zip and post it in the prop sim profiles forum later

Thanks Revvin. I fiddled with it a bit last night and it looks good. I didn't have a chance to really wring it out, but the things I used worked fine.

Update.

O.K....I'm an idiot. I installed and DL'd the map after resetting my in-game IL2:FB controls to default. I wanted to change the controller key assignments, but I can't figure out how to simply change them from the assignment you gave them, Revvin, to the ones I want.

I know it must be something simple, but additionally for some reason my pedals weren't recognized by windows (which was odd as that's NEVER happened to me before) so I had to just unplug them and plug them back in for windows to ID them. Then I removed the map so I could go back in and reassign everything manually through the in-game setup so I could fly.

I really want to use the map/control manager, so any help/guidance for this relatively simple roadblock would be appreciated.

:fart:

That profile uses a cmc file (for more info take a look at the FAQ on the main page of this site) so all you need do is right click on one of the buttons in Control Manager where you would normally enter a keypress and select 'Inser Command' at which point a pop up window wil lappear listing all available commands and you just select one and double click to assign it to that button.

I knew it was simple...

The simple things are usually the hardest for us geniuses. <_<
