Made my IL2FB map yesterday. Pedals delivered today so I want to add them to the map. Used add key and they are in there no problem. Go to play IL2FB but I have 2 windows devices now which was not what I wanted. (although it *may* work in this game it wont in others).
Back to control mgr and try to make the map a single windows device, but the wizard doesnt adjust the map I have open, it starts a new one.
So, how do I add my rudders to this map but keep it as a single device as far as windows is concerned?

Which button were you using? you can combine devices by using the 'Control Wizard' button http://www.ch-hangar.com/SiteFiles/Images/faq/cmcontrolwizbtn.jpg Just click 'OK' in the next window that asks how many axis and buttons you want, you can use the default 8 axis 32 buttons.

Yeah tried that but it wasnt that either.
It was simpler in fact. When the rudder was added it did not get added as a DirectX device as default and just needed the dropdown boxes selected. They defaulted to "none". Selected CM device 1 for all rudder axis, then R, U and V respectively for each axis and its all sorted :)

hmmm, ok I'm still only halfway there though. I was in mapped mode originally, but now mapped mode is greyed out so I can not select it... only off mode and direct mode are available.
Why would it not let me select mapped mode? ... errr... I dont get that. There must be a way of using mapped mode with more than 1 controller though right?

Open the map you made and then "Add Controller" ftp://ftp.chproducts.com/pub/Postings/CM_Add.jpg
And select the Pro Pedals...

After you click "OK" you should now see the pedals added to your map and you can download the map now if you want them seen as separate from the stick.
