In recent days there has been some particularly nasty comments aimed at Debby and Michael in particular. Comments posted on a few forums calling into question the character of two people who I find exude professionalism. Normally these comments just go with the territory of being behind a successful product, the kind of comments that are normally posted by individuals who seek to cause further malice.
It is clear from reading a great many forums that CH Products - and when I say CH Products I will single out Debby and Michael in particular who have helped a great many people in the gaming community and continue to do so often in their free time such is their dedication. They have helped out numerous users when other companies would hide behind the small print in their warranty. They still continue to visit these forums, supporting them and the communities there despite these weasel words placed like a knife in the back.
Sometimes people can be taken for granted, we don’t know what we had until it’s lost. What I’ve gained in the last two and a half years are two friends who I have a great deal of respect for so thank you Debby and Michael, your friendship, your professionalism and your dedication to the gaming community is appreciated.

It's all good, I'm goofy and some people just don't dig it :)
You are most welcome :salute:

Having just dealt with Debby on the phone yesterday I concur about professionalism. The really cool thing about it was I wasn't treated like I was just "another customer" as I have when ordering from other companies. She was warm and friendly and I didn't feel like I was ordering a product so much as I was chatting with a friend.
I've seen Michael here on the weekends answering questions, taking PM's about RMA's and so on and am amazed that he continues to give to the customers and his company during his off hours. Yet again, professionalism and excellence come to mind.
If anyone wonders why I ever go out of my way (on other forums) to promote CH it's because of the above two examples, although the reasons are not relegated just to those two. This community kicks serious butt. I look forward to logging on to see what's going on here when I get home from work.
I'm sorry to hear that some idiots are disparaging Michael and Debby, but there is a bright side to that. It's glaringly obvious who the moron on those particular boards are. ;)

I'm blind, this forum has been sanitized, or it's another forum all together... one of those.

One "link" is no longer. The other, taking a turn, for the better I hope.

I've dealt with both Michael and Debby; they're tops in my book, and aside from the hardware CH makes, they're the 2 main reasons I recommend CH to anyone who asks me what their next controller setup ought to be. I've learned through my dealings with them both that I'll never be left hanging out to dry with CH.
Folks don't come any better than Debby and Michael; many thanks to the both of you!

I'm watching this thread, be careful with your replies. My comments were in response to a small group who posted these comments, while it's true it began with one person lets not make this personal. Ulf, you need to sort out your differences with the person you refer to in private. My original post is in reply to a stupid internet squabble that some have decided they needed to drag others in and try to tarnish their good names. Good people I have a lot of respect for.

To help make your point Revvin, I'm reminded of the guy who posted a less than kind thread in these forums (over Xmas) about RMA'ing his stick. After Michael handled it like the pro he is the guy apologized profusely for his behavior. Michael might have even taken the post personally, but only he knows if that's the case.
What I saw was that Michael had turned around a bad situation and made a new friend out of that customer. And I have alot of respect for the guy apologizing for his boorish behavior. So it turned into a win/win situation for everyone, all because of the professionalism of one CH employee.
Now that's what I'm talkin' about!!!!

Yea ruggbutt, but as I recall, Michael was forced to do a lot of testing in IL2 to really wring that problem out ;)

Well, as a recent convert from "Brand C" to here, I can honestly say that I am very happy. This forum has been a big reason for that. Got a question? It gets taken care of - quickly and with class. That pretty much sums up the forum, class. Actually, I haven't had to deal with Michael or Debby very much 'cause my stuff thus far has been bullet-proof. This has been a fun, friendly, and informative place to be.
You two are doing an awesome job. The thought that you are being attacked and smeared elsewhere saddens me.

It saddens me too that two good people, Debby and Michael would get dragged into all this and have their names dragged through the mud because of a petty squabble over a choice of joystick. Words of appeasement may be uttered now but the attacks on their character have already been posted and still stand as a reminder to this whole sorry little tale.

I don't hang out on that other forum, as I don't use that brand anymore and I don't have contact with most of those guys. So as a comparative outsider it's pretty easy to tell who the immature children are.

I don't hang out on any forums. It is pretty clear that the Asshats have taken over the sim sites. this is a community problem as a whole. It is not only the consumer of these products but developers as well.
I Flew down and Met the folks of Ch Products about a month or so ago. Walked their manufacturing facility. Spent a good day with the Tool makers and machinest that manufacturer the product. A couple days with Debby and Michael the Real "Force" behind the retail side of ch products. Even Chatted with Chuck Hayes and his partner on Homebuilt Plane Building. (one of my hobbies)
Now this is a company that is passionate about Aviation. You have the owner that made the first R/C radios back in the 60's and 70's Hayes Kraft Radios. Then started making Flight sim hardware in the 80's 90's. On the second Floor of the building their is one of Many Homebuilt aircraft being assembled by hand.
IN the Offices you have the Leadership of Debby and Michael providing the services you al lneed to be satisfied with the product so you spendyour time recreating and not maintaining.
While I was down their I met Ghost as well, and we went out together and Had a few drinks.
Great Time, Great people and Great product.

Hey guys.
As you can tell by my post count I'm new. I just got my CH CS and PT over the weekend.
I was really considering that other stick till I got to reading a bit, all the mods look great but being a South African there are some pretty big bariers to just getting the stick(not to mention the mods).
Ive been spending a lot of time reading around here and have already raped the profile and cmc section dry.
All I can really say about these people who are in another country and who I have had no two way communication with is that I am greatly inpressed by how mutch they seem to love their community. Something we down here where lions roam the streets refer to as 'Ubuntu' and value greatly in anyone.
I am glad that I found a local dealer for a great product with love and support behind it in a country that is mostly deprived of many of the niche computer periferals found around the world.
Thaks Debby and Micheal for a great product and a awesome community

Its good to be here.
My only problem is that I am a programmer and as sutch Ulf's scripting suggestion have warped my fragile little mind  . I am spending way too mutch time twinkling with my setup and not nearly as mutch blowing stuff up.
I still love it tho.
Least my last Dogitech stick still works OK as a set of Rudder pedals till I can afford the PP's

I am no programmer so my "scripting suggestions" shouldn't have warped any fragile minds ;) ... Anyway, I, too, am "spending way too mutch time twinkling with my setup and not nearly as mutch blowing stuff up" , I gotta admit  . But it's nice to really see there actually is no limit :D ...

Yeah I think you not being a programmer is part of the problem ;) . You dont realize what a sick and sadistic mind bending tailspin of options your "suggestions" can lead to in the unguarded mind. :P I have however set in place certain counter measures to your "calculate pi" like attacks and am going to go do some straight mapping and flying before I never get back to my new found love of flight simming. Of course I mean all of this in the "nicest possible way" . We should get Bob to put an scripting sanity limiter on the next version of the CM. I think it should impose "virtual limits", so that newcommers are not "lost to the dark side" and become stick programmers instead of flight simmers. Course I wouldnt mind being able to perform all of my daily windows task using only my HOTAS :w00t:

Hehehe, just you wait and see ;) : the dark side (extensive scripting :D )is tempting :roflmao: - nothing is impossible! The best thing about it: no one's forced to ever venture in this direction if he shouldn't want to - just DL someone else's map and use it, without any need to actually understand the mechanisms behind it.
Blue skies :) !

Hi Debby and Michael.
Good too see u in a thread singing your praises :salute:
Actually why are you thanking me for buying CH, silly thing to do when I am thanking you for making it available to me :P . I absolutely love the stuff :luv: .
Brought it from FliteSim Systems, http://www.flitesim.co.za. Really cool guys drove half way around the City so we could meet on a Saturday afternoon since I work whack hours.
Michael you dont need to be running "Ubuntu" to be "extra cool" you started that way. But at least now you know where it comes from. Reasonably famous Mark Shuttleworth from here started "Ubuntu - linux for people" to provide a very low cost and easy to use opperating system for puter users down here that can bearly afford the hardware, not to mention software licenses.
Thanks again guys you rock.

I havent been around for awhile, havent used the FS and PT for a bit.....blame it on F1C and Silent Hunter 3...:) But I checked in and saw this thread and wanted to commment.
Its unfortunate that anyone at CH would be spoke of in a negative light. Unfortunately there are those who believe everything they hear.
My experience with CH and Michael in particular left nothing but a positive impression. No matter what is said or by whom, CH make good products and the customer service is top notch. If someone is willing to believe otherwise they are blind and/or stupid. Try the product, email/call customer service....just read the history of the posts here.....its all quite clear.....

Thank you EVERYONE, for all the nice words about Michael and I. We really appreciate hearing that we are appreciated in our community. I just hope that you all take what Michael and I post in good humor, because that is how we mean it. The little digs we give to each other are never meant to be insulting, but if anyone ever feels we crossed the line...all you have to do it let us know!
We are all just gamers here, coming together to talk about what we all love. After 14 years with CH Products, I can honestly say YOU all have made my job more fun in the last couple of years, than its ever been!
Thanks for making this community what it is today!
Signed...
