Hello all!
I have been using the CH yoke and pedals for quite sometime and love them so much that I trashed all other flight controls I have.
I now finally have everything CH! but....
I have tried to use the profile for IL2 Pacific Fighters merged by Revvin. I first went into the game and made certain that i assigned the correct key commands according to instructions provided in the download.
What happens is not all the commands appear to work on thier specified assignments, nor do the rudder pedals or the throttle settings, most settings for the TQ work as well as the fire buttons on the stick.
Before installing I made sure all controls were installed and calibrated via Control Manager, downloaded to the controls, exited CM and fired up IL2.
After browsing the forums and Dummies guide I haven't found a answer to my issue, I think it is game related or I buggered something when installing all my controls so I uninstalled all the controls, ran the CHDelete, did a restart, double checked in Device Manager to assure no CH items remained then reinstalled the Control Manager software, then went about the task of reinstalling each device seperatly, but still no change.
I'm running IL2 4.04 would this make any difference?
Anyway guess to make a long post longer, is there something I am overlooking? or doing in the wrong order?
What should I be looking for to troubleshoot my issue?
Also I appologise if this has already been answered I tried the search feature and kept getting errors, and also went through numerous pages but couldn't find anything to help me.
Thanks and advance and I'm looking forward to being a member here!

Welcome to the forums :salute: I'd check you're settings regarding the rudder pedals. I've just done a re-install of IL-2 and patched up to v4.04 and it seems to work for me as it did before the re-install on v4.04, but I'll do a bit more testing tonight to make sure. Be aware that not all aircraft have the same controls available. some aircraft have constant speed props so there is no prop pitch control, chocks are not placed infront of every aircraft, superchargers are not available on all aircraft etc. The profile is pretty generic to suit as wide a choice of plane as possible but that profile should give you a base to work from if you want to map something a little more plane specific.

Thanks Revvin, I had the same issues so i'm going through the reinstall process again.
I understand that most aircraft are different but the problem seems to be with assigned keycomands. such as for example one the Pro Throttle the lower hat switch that controls light functions, nav lights don't toggle using it but the "crown hat" that should be crew one does, online rating also works off multiple hat switches.
Because of this is why I think Im dong something wrong, when I view the profile in CM all appears just as your included photos show, key check also verrifies this so i don't think the profile itself is to blame at all it is user error or the game.
I can get the rudders and throttle to work if I assign them via the game, is this what needs to be done or should the profile and CM be doing this for me?
I will keep working at it, and am looking forward to using this profile!.
Sorry if I sound confusing (i probably am) i know exactly what I want to say but it can become mumbled when trying to write it out LOL!
Again thanks for the warm welcome and quick reply!

Thats very odd, if the commands are working properly in the keytester then they should work in game. I'd have to say it's somethign to do with IL-2 and your key mappings but you say you've gone through and mapped all the custom ones I set that were not created by 1C:Maddox by default. Apart from re-installing IL-2 and seeign what it throws up (not the best solution I admit) I'm a little stumped as everything seems fine in the Control Manager keytest. Are you connecting these devices through an unpowered hub at all? I remember a few years ago running a Saitek X36 through an unpowered hub resulted in odd commands being thrown out and profiles being lost.
Also to answer your other query, yes you should asign the axis in the game.
OK one more thign to try, as I said I've just re-installed IL-2+AEP+PF and set up the controls, I've attached my settings file from my install directory of C:\Games\IL-2 Sturmovik Forgotten Battles\Users\doe so try downloading it into the corresponding directory on your machine and see if that helps.

Thanks i will give your settings a try and see what happens.
I have all my CH stuff running through a D-Link self powered external USB 7 port, all by themselves no other items attached, I too had issues with Saitek stuff so got rid of all of it and went 100% CH.
I will see what happens with your settings, if that fails I will reinstall IL2, quite possible that with all the patches etc. something happened after I re-installed it on this new computer.
I really appreciate your help in this matter!!!
