hi all i bought the tq about 6months ago and i have a problem where the trottles jump up and down real fast usually just a fraction(little movement) and they also dont do right to the min detents(see screeshot).
as in the screenshot the detents are all over the place and when the trottles jump it's usually only a few numbers.
so when at idle in say the aeroworkB200 the throttle would jump into reverse and the throttles dont move together in all planes as well.
any help would be good
cheers

Do they jump before or after calibration?

Yep, you must have calibrated your TQ! Then you can check its axes' output on the "test" screen. If the output there is OK but not in a specific sim, then that's an issue to be solved in that sim's control-options.

hi again
it jumps before and after calibration the trottles handles are sitting flush but there reading different values in fs2004 so
both trottles levers idle detent but one seems to bounce up and down which causes it to go into reverse trust which is really bad when flying
i followed the instuctions on the net about setup and have map and maped mode and download etc everything works fine except the trottles
i have a registed copy of fsuipc and when setting values for r trust the numbers change and bounce
cheers

Hi Paul
Have you checked your sensitivities and null zone in FS2004. Sensitivity on ALL 6 axes should be right and null zone should be left. Check that your assignments in FS2004 match the ones you have "mapped" in CHCM . I would get your map ready in CHCM (and have CMFS.exe running) ie assigned, calibrated and downloaded (make sure that your detente value is 240) and in mapped mode then use the "CONVERT" option in CMFS which will ensure that your devices.cfg matches your "map". Recheck the assignments and sensitivities for all of your devices in FS2004 and then I would then use FSUIPC to fine tune the TQ. I have just reset my system after a BIOS failure and its the attention to detail that makes it easy to set up the CH products, but it took me 3-4 attempts to get it right. Don't forget to use CMStart.exe (ie running at windows start-up) this will ensure that your last map is always loaded into FS2004.
