Ken,

First let me thank you for the maps. I have just used the PMDG-747 map and it works great.

I followed the instructions and backed up my Original Devices.cfg file. But when I rename it to be the active Device.cfg file my devices are the same as the PMDG-747 settings. I thought by renameing the PMDG Device.cfg to PMDG.Device.cfg and renaming the original Device.cfg to Device.cfg everthing would go back to my original settings.

BTW I never used a map file before this.

What am I missing?

Hi Mac,

PMJI, did you go into the FS Controls assignments screen and hit the "Reset Defaults" button for each of the controllers? Changes to Devices.cfg don't necessarily take effect until you do that.

Mac, glad you like it. Bob is right you have to reset defaults to get the default.cfg to load. I also found that if I want to keep my button settings the same I just reset to default the Joystick axis only. It works and I don't have to change any thing in my button assignments just my axis assignments. Ken
