Ken,

Last week when I was looking for 747-400 CM formats you were very helpful. During that search I read something regarding recommended TrackIR profiles for the PMDG 747 and 737. Are you the one that made this recommendation in one of your posts? If so I can't locate where I read it.

BTW, Your 747 device.cfg file that worked great I can't get to reload and work. In restoring my default devices.cfg file I must of really done something wrong. My toe brakes don't work and I can't even get your device.cfg to work. Should there have been another file I should have backed up?

Thanks in advance to all who reply.

Bill

Bill,
send me an email at kdundon@kjdundon.net and I will send you my latest version I am flying with. The thing about the device config files is if you change it back to the original you have to reset to default each control device. I am not sure what you fly but if it is just 2 and 4 eng jets you need only copy the device config file for 2 or the one for 4 eng to the fs4 root dir. The way I have them programmed with the maps you only need to reset the joystick for device 2 to default. (Device 2 being the throttle.) If you are going back and forth between 2 engine jets you only need to load your map. I will gladly send you the maps for the PMDG 737, 747, level d 767 and Pss 773. They work without error for me including the brakes. Ken

Bill, by now you should have gotten my reply to your email. If it does not make it try this. Push both your Brake pedals all the way in and see if the brakes go out. If so check reverse on the brake pedals (both left and right) only and try them. I was confused by this and found it out by accident and a bit of frustration. Since I reversed the inputs they have worked fine. Ken

Ken,

Sometimes I can't see the forest for the trees. I didn't have the reverse checked. First it wouldn't let me check it. Then when I checked one and tried to check the other the first one became unchecked. Long story short. Peddle brakes are working. The Spoilers and Flaps on the Throttle Quad I can't get to work. But everything else is working again.

I'm afraid to touch anything just in case I get messed up again.

Ken, thanks very much for hanging in there with me. I appreciate all your help.

Regards.

Bill
