IL2 FB

Please be patient with me... I'm new to this!!

Looking to create my first map for IL2 FB.
I've looked at Revvin's and notice that each controller has a seperate CMD ie CM1 CM2 CM3.
Another map that I've downloaded has combined all three controllers into one CMD ie CM1
Does it matter? Whats preferable?
I have a Fighterstick and a Pro Throttle..

For nearly all modern sims (ie those created in the last two years or so) it does'nt really matter. IL-2 recognises more than one controller so I did'nt see any need in combining them but for games like Falcon 4.0, Flanker 2.5 etc you will need to combine the devices into one virtual device so that those sims will recognise all axis and buttons.
