CH USB Fighterstick not seen as primary controller

I'm using USB Fighterstick, USB Pro Throttle and USB Pro Pedals on a WinXP computer. I'm playing in Warbirds and Armored Assault.

Seemingly out of the blue my input mapping in oth games was scrambled. The trigger on the Fighterstick is no longer seen as button 0 but usually either 19 or 22.
Button ) is now on one of the hat switches of the throttle.

I'm reluctant to just reprogram evrything for fear that there is more to come and
this is only the beginning. :rolleyes:

I've tried reinstalling the games, drivers and controller software. As well as just deleting the settings files of the games. Seperately and all together. But no matter what I do both games view the throttle as the primary controller.

Does anyone have some idea as to what I'm missing?

Any help would be appreciated.

Is the Pro Throttle listed first in Game Controllers?

If so you might want to change the order of the controllers in Game Controllers by using a map.

Open the Control Manager and "Add" ftp://ftp.chproducts.com/pub/Postings/CM_Add.jpg each device you own in theorder you want them to be seen.....

i.e. Fighterstick, Pro Throttle, and then Pro Pedals.

Then just click on "Download" ftp://ftp.chproducts.com/pub/Postings/CM_Download.jpg.

Now they will be in the order you like in not just Game Controllers but they should alos be in the correct order in your game. Keep in mind they will now be called CH Control Manager Device 1, 2 and 3 respectively.

The just use the CHStart utility in your Windows start up fodler in the Start Menu and it will place the controllers in this order everytime to boot up.

That did the trick. Although I still don't know what caused it to begin with. If I figure that out I'll post it. I'm also slightly concerned that nothing shows when I run GameControllers from the Control Panel.

But the important thing is I can fly and, drive tanks again!! :D
