A Control Manager profile can consist of up to three different files. These files are:
.map - this file is used by Control Manager to set out your buttons and commands
.cmc - this is an optional file that can contain all a games key commands assigned to easy to remember names (see this (http://www.ch-hangar.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=5#cmc_files) FAQ item on how to use CMC files)
.cms - this file contains any CMS script used by the profile (see your Control Manager help file for more on CMS scripting)
A profile does not necessarily need to contain all these files, basic profiles may only use a .map file but if you download a profile from this site for instance that includes any of these files then you should unzip them to your \Control Manager\Maps directory.
