Hello Everybody,

Firstly, let me introduce myself....my name is Scott, i'm 34 years old and I live in the UK.

I have been a fan of CH Products since the release of the original Flightstick!

I would never consider using anything for my gaming other than CH Products so I assume you guys are the same?

Anyway, whilst i'm here let me ask a couple of questions?

My current controllers CH FS PRO and CH F16 COMBATSTICK (both Gameport) do not allow me to use 2 buttons at once. For example, if i Press and HOLD DOWN JOY 3 then press JOY 2, it doesnt work! However, if I release JOY 3 then JOY 2 works (I hope that made sense)

Q. Does the FLIGHTSTICK PRO USB have the more than one button at a time funcionality?

I ask, because I am tempted to buy one, but only if it provides the 'extra' functionality.

Q. What exactly can I do with SPEEDKEYS in FPS games?

Q. Does anyone know a good UK retailer for CH Products?

Any answers will be truly appreciated.

Cheers

Bubby

Hmm not sure about the gameport gear, from memory yes you could hold down more than one button (maybe wrong, perhaps one of the gameport users can help here), you can with the USB gear. As for UK retailers then I cannot recommend RC Simulations (http://www.rcsimulations.com/) strongly enough. The proprietor is a sim nut himself so knows whats he's talking about (and selling :) ) I had a few erm 'issues' with a certain other brand that resulted in me returning three of those devices. Most other retailers would point you towards the manufacturer for them to honour the guarantee but this guy happily swapped mine for new and handled the RMA to the manufacturer himself at his own cost. They are extremely helpful and even if you can save a few pounds elsewhere I'd still recommend these guys as they are worth their weight in gold to virtual sim pilots in the UK (they also ship overseas). If they don't have what you want then there is also Gameplay (http://www.gameplay.com/) You don't perhaps get the same personal treatment but they are fast and efficient and I order most of my software from these guys which incidentally is well worth it, not only are they cheap but if you want a game and pre-order and pay the 99p first class delivery charge in most cases you'll have you're game the day before it hits the shops  recently I had Lock-On, the Aces upgrade for IL-2, UT2004 and Far Cry all a day early.

The 2 button thing, definately doesnt work on the gameport Flightstick PRO.

Thanks for the advice about Gameplay...they are selling a USB Flighstick PRO for £85 inc vat and £1 postage!

Speedkeys was the old gameport software that ran under Win 95/98/Me but does not work under Win 2000/XP. Bob Church has done wonders with the new Control Manager software for the USB range of CH sticks.
