Hi Everyone,
Here is an announcement for the launch of my Super King Air 200 Simulator home Building Kit.
The kit will include plans to build your own Super King air 200 Home Simulator.
All part of the construction is documented for an easy building. Not responsible for the quality of your skills ;)
It will include construction plans, DXF files to have most of your parts laser cutted but it is not all that easy! you still have to do some work : ) Rome was not built in one day you know.
But just to give you an idea i have started building my home sime and doing all the documentations in april 2006 and now i am flying in my King Air 200.
I have left some pics and a PDF with this message for your enjoyment.
I expect to release my Kit by December 2006 but depending on how everything goes it might be January at the latest.
Enjoy the pics and feel free to leave your comments
Cheers
Robert

Pictures look good, but they are a little small to appreciate the detail.

Robert,
It looks great!
I didn't see a link to any kind of website of your own...it would be nice to be able to get more info and details.
Perhaps you could also post links to your supply sources and the firm that did the laser cutting for you...where I live, there just are not any firms doing that kind of work, and others that I have found online are un-willing to do setups for such small jobs.
I don't know what kind of pricing structure you had in mind, but you may want to consider offering the plans for the individual components separately. That way, folks could get a little taste of the project before jumping in with both feet, or committing themselves too heavily financialy. These sorts of projects always seem to grow larger than originally intended.
A good starting point might be the stand-alone center console for the throttle quadrant. That is what caught my own eye initially.
A great start...good luck and best wishes!

Thanks for your reply : )
It is not in my plan to get any of my plan available as little kits at least not in the short term and i will tell you why.
the whole set of plan including the DXF files for laser cutting will be sold for around 60.00$ US.
Like you said yourself most company that do laser cutting will charge you a minimum fee of around 60.00$ so it is why i have built my kit in a way that the DXF files are base on a 1200 x 2440mm sheets or if you prefer 4' x 8' sheets of 3mm, 4.5mm, 9mm and 12mm MDF sheet to lower the cost of building.
To get the whole structure of the simulator that i have build it only costed me about 900.00$ NZ includind all the laser cutting.
Just make a quick calculation.
So sorry but the pedestal kit will only come with the whole package : (
I will make more pictures available soon. but if you want to see more just email me you email and i will gladly send you more pictures.
Have a great day
Robert
