CH announced the new device here (http://www.chproducts.com/retail/news_letter_archives.html) and plan to make it available in Spring 2004. Looks like it will be a great controller for multi-engine sim fans: Six fully programmable axis

From the pictures below it looks like you will be able to configure the device with interchangeable knobs to set it up for four engine or two engine operation as well as trim tabs. Being USB should make it compatible with all brands of joystick as long as your sim supports input from more than one controller which most modern sims do.
