I have recently upgraded to a new box with Win XP as the OS. I will eventually get a full CH USB set up but for now would like to run my CH Gameport controls.

I have a small HD in my old box that I could move to the new system and just run Win 98 and games on this with my gameport controls.

Can someone tell me if this is feasible and if so, how do I go about setting up a boot disc to do this?

Thanks much.

YoDude,

This is very feasible, I recommend a multi boot loader called "System Commander". Although it maybe easier to try the bootdisk project I put together for windows XP users. BootDisk (http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=324)

Thanks Bruce,

I read through your Bootdisc thread and I may end up going that way but I would prefer to have a full up Win 98 option.

Although System Commander looks like a great program I am also trying to avoid going with a dual operating system with partitions.

I would love to be able to have the two hard drives, one with XP and the other with 98. I have read just about everything I can find on 98 startup and boot discs but I still not sure if what I am wanting to do is possible.

Is it possible to have a floppy disc formated such that, with it in the floppy drive, the computer will just ignore the XP hard drive and boot up in 98 from the other HD?
