hi, I searched the whole day, but i found nothing, so I'm asking you for help now.
I bought the Pro pedals but only have an normal gameport.
what gamecards do have a gameport and the auxiliary port, so that i can use the toe breaks, too?
I only red of one, made by thrustmaster, but i found no place where i can buy this one.
Do you have other cards with gameport and aux port, or only auxiliary port?
as a second question i wanted to ask, because i have the gameport version of the flightstick pro and the pro pedals, how it's gonna be with the throttle quadrant, that should come out here in germany in may 2004.
I only read about an USB version by now.
Is it possible to combine this version with my Gameport versions?
thanks for your help.

Do you have a soundcard? they normally have a Midi/Gameport connector on them. Unfortunately you cannot mix that USB Throttle Quadrant and your gameport devices in Control Manager.

yes i have a soundcard, a creative audiy 2 ZS, there was an external gameport brought with it, and i'm sorry, but i don't know what this midi/gameport is, or helps me.
Its actually a very good soundcard, so i think it should have it.
but what i need is this aux port, that looks like a gameport, but has no pins - in this case the pins are at the cable from the pro pedals.
im sorry when i said something wrong, if i did, please correct me.

by the way, is there a possibility to combine the throttle quadrant with my stuff, if i find some kind of adapter that switches the gameport caple into a usb cable?
or is a gameport version of the throttle quadrant planned?

I am sorry but you cannot convert your game port controllers to USB so that you can use them in the Control Manager.

You can try to use them with the Throttle Quadrant but you will only be able to "mix" them in games that support multiple joystick inputs.

Also you are not going to find a "new" game card with a re-addressable 15 pin game port on it. Somewhere made but they were ISA only and are long since gone.

thx,
does the microsoft flight simulator 2004 support multiple joystick input?
and secondly: is there no possibility then, to use the toe break with my "normal" gameport?
isn't this here Gameport 2 USB converter (http://www.joy-stick.net/reviews/other/usbadapt.htm) a possibility to convert it that way, that the pedals work together with the throttle quadrant?

MFS 2004 does have support for multiple joystick inputs so that will work.

Game port to USB adapters are a hit or miss proposition. Our controllers are true analog and do not convert to USB with any level of reliability. In the off chance that you do convert them to USB they cannot be combined with other "native" USB controllers from CH in the Control Manager. In fact the Control Manager will not see these "converted controllers" at all. This means no scripting, no button emulation, nor any of the other Control Manager benefits.

Hi, I now installed a second Gameport device, so that i'm now able to plug in both of the gameport cables of my pro pedals so that their brake function should work now. Then I downloaded the drivers of the CH page and installed them. I'm now able to choose both, my CH pro pedals and my CH FLightstick pro from the listed gamport configuration in windows XP. But when I configurated them and close the configuration window, it seems as if it's deleting my configuration right after I closed the window.
When I open the FLight SImulator 2004 of Microsoft not even the normal joystick is working.
It's only working when I configure something new, but not with the pre-configured CH products of the gameport list. BUt when I configure the Pedals and the Flightstick on my own I'm unable to use my differential Brakes, because I'm unable to configure them in the configuration list.
So what can I do to make them work?
thanks a lot

A second game port on a PC usually means that one of them re-addressable. But in my experience things never go well even then. The best thing is to use a USB stick until you can replace the Pedals with USB ones. As this is in MFS 2004 you don't have to have a nice CH USB stick you can go get some POS Saitek $19.00 thing from Best Buy for now.
