Hi,
First off want to say this looks like a really great site. Hope to learn much more about using my new CH gear here.
I have USB Fighterstick, Pro-throttle and Pedals. Decided to try out IL-2 for the first time and am unable to get the game to recognize any input from the throttle.
Have been using the CH gear in Medevac-Vietnam with no problems.
Thanks for any help.

I'm not much help but I have the Pro Throttle (USB) and it works fine in IL2. I'm using a MSPP2 for my joystick with a set of simped-varios for rudder pedals wired into the Z axis of the stick (the twisty no longer functions since I rewired it to the pedals). IL2 only recognizes up to two controllers so it might be because it is seeing the throttle as a third controller.
You might need to do some mapping...

I did try using the IL-2 map on CH's web site, but that only resulted in the Boost (WEP) being activated when the throttle is pushed all the way forward. No other response.
Thanks.

I figured it out. In the HOTAS setup page I was trying to type in the name of the throttle axis. It finally sunk into my thick brain that I had to actually move the throttle to make the change. Oops.

There is a more up to date profile on my site for IL2FB. In my sig. The profiles on CH site are really old (way back in CM1 days). More updated maps are available at my new site.
P.S. The throttle wheel on FS is set up to do Trim in IL2. The toe brakes are combined to one in the ProPedals. You will have to assign them in HOTAS setting as well.

Thanks much, Spidey. I will check out you updated map. That trim function sounds like a great use for the throttle wheel.

Spidey's maps are terrific. I did modify his IL-2/FB map to use the FS throttle wheel for prop pitch instead of elevator trim, which is assigned to another FS hat switch. Thanks, Spidey!

Prop Pitch on the Fighterstick wheel is the configuration I use as the server I have set up has complex engine management enabled.
