Welcome to the CH Hangar pcatt172. That looks like a great pit, WTG! I can only view the one picture though, feel free to attach any pictures you have to a reply in this thread by clicking on the 'manage attachments' button.:salute:

I could only see one photo because I didn't want to register, but what I saw looked very cool. Who did the wordwork on the actual frame, because it looks really awesome with those nice curves. That's craftsmanship.

Thanks for the responses and compliments! I actually constructed the entire thing in my garage with freehand jigsaw, router and hand drill - and some REALLY expensive paint! I have just copyrighted the design and I have someone building a production prototype to see if I can get any traction on it for the home simulator/pilot in training. I use this to practice my IFR training. The seat position slides front/rear on slot and there's a cable management tray in the back. Pretty tidy for the basement or garage!:D

Thanks for posting the pictures, that really does look like a fine job! My carpentary skills are somewhat lacking :(

That adjustable Ergotron Triple Monitor stand compliments the setup

Wait..I've got to find the socks that just got blown off...where did you find the monitor stand? I thought I'd have to hire a welder to design one for me.You mention ERGOTRON...who is that

Like another postee mentioned, I selected the Ergotron triple mount for the display as it was perfect for my 3x Dell FP1907 monitors. It's adjustable vertically and for pitch. I also used the Matrox tripehead2go box for 3820x1024 resolution. Works great!

Nice work bro. I'd love to build something like that for F4:AF. But I'm stubborn and holding out til' I can do it with projectors.

Awesome job and most inspiring. Having been simming since it began (I am 62) I have long dreamed of building a home cockpit and now have most of the kit and an uber-PC. You have made an excellent one.
