Question about Control Manager Install

I just downloaded Control Manager 3.0 and need advice on the install. I'm using XP Home. Do I have to unplug my usb device first or keep it plugged in when installing the Contol Manager. I've read the instructions at the CH site that says with XP the controller should be plugged in before install but I just want to make sure before I install. Thanks in advance!!!

I had all the devices plugged in when I installed CH Manager 3. It may take some time for the individual device drivers to load the 1st time. Wait for the "All new hardware deivces installed" screen to appear in the corner of your screen before you start playing games.

Windows 98/ME (ewww nasty taste in my mouth :( )
Install Control Manager then plug in controllers

Windows 2K/XP
Plug in controllers then install Control Manager

Ahh yes, Windows Master of Evil (cough, cough) I mean Windows ME :lol: I had forgotten you have to Install Control Manager then plug in controllers. Im glad its the other way around for XP :)

My money is on Michael, you cant inflict physical pain with a ME CD, but with a shotgun, ouch that would hurt :lol:
