Hi I'm new th the CH USB stuff. I had the gameport devices and then the Cougar. (still got that) What my problem is, is that in LOMAC............. Wait first I downloaded spideys LOMAC version 2 for the control manager, I am using CM 3.0 as well. All the features seem to work fine exept the trigger. It seems to work intermittently, when I fire the gun. this seems to be only in the F1 cockpit view. on the F2 outside view it works fine.
I only got the kit today and I am trying to find my way around the control manager still.
The missiles fire, but I am not sure whether they are intermittent in the cockpit view.
Any help would be appreciated.
By the way I do like my new stuff, I now Have the lot. Fighter stick , pro throttle and pedals.

The best work-around for this seems to be to assign to your fighterstick trigger the spacebar on your keyboard (SPC), which is the default key to release weps, including the gun, in LOMAC. This is easily done via ControlManager. This solution worked for me :) . Good luck.

Great site, Revvin!

cheers, I think I did that last night. I am not sure though because this programming lark is all new to me. i am not sure that I didi it right.
when I opened up control manager to see if I could sort it first off, the triger was a direct x button -button 1. I unchecked the direct x option and typed in SPC in the box, then I saved it and went back to the game. the problem was still there so I dont think that I did it right.
when I tested the button in CM it seemed to work every time.

Sounds as though you did it the right way...so long as you entered "SPC" (without the quotes of course) in the box labeled "Press" under the "Normal Action" section. Just make sure you save the modified map AND then download it again into your controllers.

If that doesn't work, as it did for me, then I'm stumped. Hopefully, it isn't a hardware problem :( .

I assume that you mean the 3 small lights (green, red, and yellow) on both the Fighterstick and the Pro Throttle? They help indicate which mode your controller is in...switched by either the mini-stick on the Throttle (by pressing it inwards) or the small red button the the right side of the Fighterstick (topside). For each of the three modes, you can activate three different maps for the controllers. Clear as mud??

ive got it now. Why is there no documentation or readme to indicate this, or have I just missed it?

Although the Control Manager manual discusses the modes available it's a bit sketchy on what buttons activate the modes by default (the ones Rudi mentioned) you can also change modes with a CMS script that will give you 4 modes instead of three although the LED's on the stick and throttle don't work when you do it this way.

I am happy with my set up now. I seem to have more control than the Cougar and there is a definite 'click' when you press a button.
