Woke up, headed to the kitchen, stepped on my ch fighterstick and snapped it right off at the base. I super glued it back on and the x and y axis are fine but only the left direction on the hats work. No guns or pickle button, pinkie is ok. My first reaction (ok second) was to box it up on monday and send it to ch. I'm surprised at how strong the glued joint is, may just keep it since I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a warranty repair. So how do I get at the wires (besides steppin on it)?

Stepped on the Fighterstick?..... Stepped?.... You left my brother on the floor like some used tissue?
Shame....shame....shame :(
You either puled the wires off of the buttons/PCB or you have split some of them in the harnees tha goes down the stick to the main PCB.
Either way things are not good. To get a look at the wires in the stick handle there are SIX phillips head screws on the right side of the grip (right side if you are using it like you should). Once they are out youi can have a look at the inside of the stick and see fi the wires are still attached to the buttons/pcb's.

Yep, they live under the couch. I use them on the couch with a projector setup. I understand your reaction, but it's not what you think. They have covers and are clean, well appreciated and pampered. I'm worthless when I first wake up and the fighterstick was poking out just far enough to trip me. I keep hearing "WHO'S SIDE ARE YOU ON!!!!". Any idea what I'm looking at to send it to the hospital?

There's 3 wires disconnected. They are orange, grey, and white. BTW, nice inside construction.

Thanks, Michael, you will be happy to know they now have their own cedar box to protect them from me. Now I'll just break myself if I trip on them.

Michael,
After looking at these pics, I can see why it can take sometime to design a new product such as the throttle quad. I dont think I have ever seen the guts of joystick neatly designed and wires placed properly like the ones you sell :salute:
P.s. Who ever does the soldering job does better then what machines do on some Mother Boards I have seen

Chuck insists that our products are as "finished" inside as they are outside. It takes longer but it makes for a really well made product.

Michael, you DA MAN! I can see where I need to reconnect stuff. How does the part with the circuit board (three hats and red button on top) come out? I didn't try anything when I opened mine, saw the loose wires and put it back together.

It just slides out. After you remove the right side you can pull the PCB and its faceplate straight out. It will slide back in just as easily when you are done.

Speaking of Bases...
Any Ideas on how to silince the Gimbal  ?? Everytime I have a party and someone wants to try out the H.O.T.A.S. it appears some people think its a bit too loud. But then again, the fighterstick is a blur the way they fly

You could cut down on their coffee or sugar intake. Or you could make them sit in the corner until the "buzz" wears off
