Umlaut characters in map

Hi all,

when I try to enter German umlaut characters into a map and download that map into the system I will receive an error message like this:

Unrecognized Character or Keyword: ö - Download Cancelled!

The ö key is used in the game (LOMAC German version) and I can easily reconfigure that key but I would like to know if there is a way to put these keys into a map.

Use the "Record Keystrokes" function to get the US key equivalent. Check out THIS (http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=284&st=30) thread's eighth post down.

I already edited the map using the keystroke recorder and it recorded a semicolon ";", which is of course on a different key on a German keyboard. Not sure if it will work because neither did I test the map yet nor did I launch LOMAC to see the effect. If a semicolon is sent instead of an "ö", I will let you know...

The key check will display a semicolon also, but in game it works perfectly. Thanks a lot! And excuse me for doubting...
