Try this thread (http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=235).
On a related issue, my yoke, which seems pretty well lubed, does occasionally emit sounds like a spring being tapped (which is probably what it is). I've assumed this is normal, but it does concern me slightly.
Man, is it a great piece of hardware though. The other night I was doing some ground-pounding in a P-38 in IL2 FB/AEP - loads of fun.

Oh yeah the yoke. Does it sound like something is rubbing? Or can you hear the springs jsut extending like the metal is fatigued?

New yokes should come with a small amount of silicone based lubricant on the shaft. If we missed yours I am sorry but don't worry it will not hurt the unit if you use it without the lubricant it will just sound really nasty ;) .

should come with lubricant but my doesn`t , and I think it is not fair ...
How you can tell , that you can forget to apply lubricant on the shaft???!!!!!!
In that case my yoke seems to be a not finished product... sorry but that`s true
I bought this yoke from www.pilots.pl , yours newest dealer from Poland, whatmore, all yokes he received from you ,has the same problem - no lubricant!!! So in my opinion this problem should be resolved betwen you and the dealer ... my idea is to send him a lubricants free of charge ..anyway now is your turn.
Don`t understend me wrongly please ,but I was waiting long for this fantastic product ( both with pro pedals) and that fault makes me not comfortable while flying ..I was talking with many users of that yoke and everyone has lubricant on the shaft .... so why I become disappointed.
I hope you take care about this problem
best regards
Martin
ps. Congratulations Michael about your`s son!!!

Keep in mind that this is a very fine sheen on the shaft not a tube of silicone that comes in the box.
I am not quite sure but I don't see how more than one or two could make it out of the factory with out this on the shaft.
I will however see if anything has been reported to the Sales and Marketing department from Poland.
