Hi All

I recentely bought a complete package of CH products... Combatstick, Pro pedals,
and throttle, I´m really happy with them but I find it hard to map just one thing at the IL2 game... The views.
As you all can see my experience with the profiler is almost nil so I really need you Pro´s help.
Its like this... it seems that the default POV assigned to the views in flight is the one located at the throttle and it´s really hard to use. What I need to know is if there is a way to change from the Throttle, to the POV located at the Combatstick.

Thanks in advance.

P.S the seller told me that since I´m using Windows XP Pro and the products beeing recognized by the program I should not install the Profiler... is that true?

P.S.2 I tryed to do it manually but qut after a few rounds... very hard to get the right button

I think you're retailer is not giving you the whole picture here. Yes you can just plug the sticks in and use them as plain ole DirectX compatible sticks and map your buttons in your chosen sims joystick/keyboard mapper but to get the very best from your CH sticks then I suggest you download CH's Control Manager 3 software here (http://www.chproducts.com/retail/tech_controlmanager.html). Take a look at the manual that comes in electronic format with that software and if you're still stuck post a question and we can try and help but you can also take a look at the FAQ (http://www.ch-hangar.com/content.php?content.1) (Spidey's guide seems to be unavailable at the moment or I'd have linked that too)

I should also mention that you can grab ready made profiles that you can alter to suit your own taste in the profiles forum here (http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/index.php?showforum=7) or download some base maps to create your own layout here (http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/index.php?showforum=26).
