I am converting from Cougar system to a CH Hotas system it should be arriving tomorrow. Because throttle doesn’t use a range or elevation dials like the cougar I would like to know how other user get around this or program these functions?

When I first had my Cougar I mapped all trim functions to the ant and range dials but all to often found myself rolling them back and fore too much to get the right ammount of trim so I went back to using a hatswitch and still do now. Most of my profiles map trim to the hatswitch directly under the POV hat, I try to keep my profiles as uniform as possible to help when playing different sims. I do however have a few custom maps that I use myself as I use a TrackIR device so the trim functions then got moved to the POV Hat.

Hardcore Falcon player?

I like to have the controls set up as much like the real thing, so I just programmed two hats on the Pro Throttle to do the inc/dec range/elevation.

There's probably even a profile on this site that does just that, as well as give all the Fighterstick hats the right function. It's easy enough to make your own though.
