Arghh! Need some help with control setup...

Ok, here's the situation......

I want to use my setup for flying in BF1942 : Desert Combat

I have:

1. Fighterstick USB
2. Pro Throttle
3. Pro Pedals

Here is what I am trying to do:

1. Fighterstick: Use for Stick on Aircraft / Cyclic on helos

2. Pro Throttle: Use for throttle on Aircraft / Collective on helos

3. Pro Pedals: Use for rudders on Aircraft / Tail Rotor on helos

I have been trying to accomplish this for a long time and can't for the life of me figure it out. :(

I DO NOT want to use the setup for any infantry or ground vehicle movement or actions, just for the flyable vehicles. For the ground vehicles and infantry I would like to retain use of the mouse and keyboard. The setup I have above I want to JUST USE for the Aircraft and Helicopters.

I asked here before but I don't think I was very clear in my intentions.

Can somebody help me out, please?

Check out my profile in the profiles forum, I had to mess about and move axis from one device to another to get everything setup as you described. BF1942 appears to have a limit on the axis recognised.

Will this map allow all the funtions I did above?

Well, the Stick, Throttle, and Pedals can all be recognized now but when I try to assign the trigger to "Fire" my computer hard locks requiring me to press the reset button.

If I am using a map can I not assign my own funcxtions to the buttons, do I have to use the button assignments in the map?

Any ideas?

I just tested it in game without touching anything control setup wise and my coputer hard locks when i press the trigger. :(
