I'm in the process of making some modifications to my pit and it has become necessary for me to use velcro to have my FS and PT mounted correctly. Has anyone used the velcro that has a sticky side on each piece so they have one piece stuck to their pit and the other stuck to their stick and throttle? Was a standard strip of velcro enough? I'm wondering if the little feet on the units will create too much space for the velcro to connect to each other.

Thanks in advance for information someone can provide.

You can buy industrial grade velcro at Home Depot. That's what I use for attaching everything with my pit. The standard velcro isn't strong enuf IMHO.

Got mine at Lowes, and it's doing fine on my MFPs, XKeys, and PT as well as my FS

Check out this site: www.simcockpitsystem.com.
He uses velcro straps to secure the CH throttles, etc.

So what is the problem with just pulling out/cuting off the little feet?
