Can someone please help me?
How to program mode switch with button three on my Fighterstick (NAV, BVR and ATG modes)?

Second, I,m trying to set my fire and release control on button 1. I want to use my B1 for release but when I press B2 (which I define as - cannon toggle), i want to switch B1 to fire cannon.

To set Button 3 on your Fighterstick to mode control check out THIS (http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=351) thread.

If you want Button 1 to be fire Guns and then Fire Cannon when you hold down Button 2 I would think using the "Shift function" would be your best bet. For the Shift function check the 14th post down in THIS (http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=159&st=15) thread.

You could set Button 2 to be your "Shift Function" and then program the "Normal Action" on Button 1 to the keystroke for Fire Guns and then set the "Shifted Action" on Button 1 to be the Fire Cannon keystroke.

So, when I enable modes in Program settings I just have to program Button 3 in mode 1 as "1", in mode 2 as "2" and in mode 3 as "7"?

Considering B1 fire control, I want to switch fire control with B2 as cannon toggle. So when I'm in AA or AG mode I want B1 as "Release" button but when I press (and release) B2 I want to switch B1 to "Fire" cannon control. When I press B2 again - switch to previous "Release" control.

In the 1.02 patch they have seperated the cannon and weapon release for US aircraft only. Russian planes still have them combined in one key. So when in a US aircraft you will need to use two different commands to operate the cannon & weapon release.

Some choices would be to either use an alternate mode for US aircraft when wanting weapon release vs. cannon or, my preference, use the shift button to designate the trigger button (B1) to release weapons.

I have posted a profile [with a pretty graphical map - I can't wait for that option to be in software from CH ;) ] that has the cannon + weapon release for Russian and Cannon for US in the unshifted function and weapon release for US when the SHIFT button is held down. It should be available shortly when approved by the Mods.
