Hi, complete Dweeb here. How can I assign Trackir 2 controls to my Fighter Stick USB. Please keep it simple for me.

What controls? You mean keystrokes?

Yes. What I usually do is find two keyboard controls that the sim does not use and assign them in the sim's TrackIR profile to the enable and center functions. Then I simply use Control Manager to assign those two keys to buttons (or combinations of buttons) in my map for the sim.

I have these commands in my .cmc file for IL-2:

//TrackIR Commands
TIR_Centre_View F12
TIR_Turn_On/Off F9
TIR_Mode_Switch F8

To use .cmc files take a look at the FAQ here (http://www.ch-hangar.com/content.php?content.1#cmcfiles). If you just want to assign the keys to button yourself then just click on a button and type F12 into the dialogue box on the right side of the screen, for the F-keys and some other special keys you need to actually type their name in as oppossed to just pressing the key, the correct syntax for these special keys can be found by clickign on the 'Help' button in Control Manager and clicking on the 'Control Manager Keycodes' heading.
