I had another keyboard Encoder and you just programmed the keyboard commands. I had to hard wire it and I got out of flying, so took it apart.
I saw the CH MFP and it had enought command buttons, so bought it! I would like to program each botton like keyboard. But it seems to need script.... Guide me where do type out the script for each key?
Here are two commands that covers using the shift and control keys.
1 Shift + 5 ( select engine)
2 Control + F7 (setting the prop)

Open the Control Manger and add the MFP to the controls there. Then you can click on a button. On the right side you can assign it to device such as CM device 4 and give the button a number (i.e. 1).

For FSX and other sims I simply go to the sim and it's control setup. I then find the select engine command and tell it to use this button.

If the sim does not allow that then on the CM page uncheck DX Mode and put the keys you want in the normal action press. Check the help file for a list of key names.
